Where did we start?
As students from APEC Schools who aspire to transform our dreams into a reality, we decided to take the first step and create a platform that will surely be a great experience. We, Purplicious Six (the group 2 from the section of A07-09-S1-2), created an online platform to promote our first brand, Hexing Love. Throughout our journey, we learned about different values that definitely helped us improve the people we were when the 1st Quarter started, up until the 4th Quarter ended. So, let's tackle about the different aspects we learned during the creation of Hexing Love.
Coding
Of course, first and foremost, we have learned to code to create our very first website. Despite using the platform Wix to edit and design our websites easily, we still started from using JavaScript and earned our way up with the knowledge we gained. We used our knowledge in programming and coding to create certain features, such as sliding cards and information boxes, to make our platform more interactive.
Production
When creating our first video, we have learned to master our skills in the 3 different types of production; Pre-production, Production, and Post-production. With mastering these skills, we went on to create a video that suits our category and brand. It was safe to say that our first video and second video was a success as we interacted with the audience we expected and got a great result in our YouTube Analytics.
Marketing
In order to increase the likeliness of our brand and have interaction with our target audience, we have learned different key points and techniques to engage with our viewers and exceed their expectations. We also used various Social Media Platforms to promote our products and to promote the videos we have created.
Collaborating
As a group of 6 students, we needed to get along for the sake of our team and our brand. We established a friendship throughout our journey and collaborated our ideas to reach to the point we have right now. Along the way, we enjoyed the moments when we had recorded ourselves for the videos, appointed meetings to finalize our concepts, and congratulated ourselves for the hard work we put. Overall, Hexing Love is truly one of a kind to exceed the boundaries of individuals who aspire to be more and create more.
